Fact: 85% of the population will have some type of back pain at least once in their lives. An estimated cost of treatment in the USA is $50 billion dollars a year. All of your back muscles and leg muscles anchor to your back. Lack of exercise, muscle imbalance, poor nutrition and diet, stress, prolonged sitting or standing, all create or promote a low back episode. The problem is it never heals correctly in the first place because you have to keep using it, through work or play, and expect it to keep up. You don't treat it very good either! Back pain is commonly thought to come from the discs (the little shock absorbers between your spinal bones), hip joints, pelvis, lower back and even all the way down to the knees and feet, or as far away as your skull.
